This is primarily geared toward investing in investors purchasing properties for their own purposes, but agents and Realtors who work as Buyer's agents are welcome to attend.  We will be sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly of the REO process.  We have seen ethical agents and not so ethical agents in this business and you need to know all their dirty tricks, we will share these from our own personal experiences.

Don & Kim Tucker have been investing in real estate in the Kansas City market since 1999. Specializing in buying homes to rehab and resell to both owner occupants as well as investors they have worked with many aspects of real estate investing.

Don has many years in construction and environmental including past Section 8 Inspector and home inspector. He also spent a little over a year as a mortgage loan officer, learning the ropes of a lender. He inspects our homes, manages the rehab and the contractors, and deals with all aspects of financing both for our purchase as well as for our buyer's purchase. 

Kim's role in the beginning was to locate the properties and negotiate a good purchase price. They started out buying bank owned properties and for 4 years Kim specialized in selling bank owned properties and completing Broker Price Opinions.

Kim & Don have purchased well over 50 REO properties, a few short sales, and a few on the courhouse steps.  They have also assisted in the sale of many more REO properties and been a party to several other short sales and court house step sales.  Learn from our mistaks
