Quick Start New Investors

Being new to anything has it's challenges and you want to be sure before you fully commit yourself that this is what you want to do.  Afterall, your time is very valuable.  This checklist will help you understand more about real estate investing and our association in general.  Once you've decided about real estate investing as a way to accomplish your goals and that MAREI membership is a great way to help you succeed, we want to help you overcome challenges and issues and help you become a successful real estate investor:

Quick Start Steps:

1.   Review our past Newsletter in our Newsletter Archives.

2.  Visit the Member Resources  page to access many of our Member Resources.

3.  Visit the  Membership Benefits page to see all the benefits for Members>

4.   Register to receive our Newsletter and Updates in Real Estate via email:  register here.

5.  Review Membership Options and select the membership option that will best fit your needs.

6.  Attend First Meeting: Save $10 on your first visit by pre-registering through our Calendar of Events 

7.   Attend New / Potential Member Orientation from 6:15 pm to 6:45 pm at your first meeting.

8.  Talk to at least 5 current members and all the vendors set up at the meeting.

9.  What do you already know - take our Fundamentals Test to see what you already know.

10.  Check our Calendar and Register for our Beginner's Fast Start to Success Workshop. 

       Beginner's Fast Start to Success full day workshop offered twice a year.

       Beginner's Fast Start to Success - Condensed 1/2 day workshop offered twice a year.

Then move on to the Quick Start - New Members.
